Happy Holidays from Grovedale Winery!!! Things around the winery are bustling for Christmas! We have our Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, and Cabernet Franc back in stock and everything is tasting great. We also have a new addition to our Grovedale Family, Greyson Homer was born on Nov. 17, 2011... Another reason to be thankful this holiday season. From our family to yours we wish you all a Merry Christmas!!!

IN THE VINEYARD:
We survived one of the wettest falls on record as well as the worst flooding our area has ever seen. The vines seem to have hardened off ok, we will have to keep a close eye on the ones that we submerged for a few days, thank goodness we are on such well drained soils. We are getting ready to start pruning everything in the new year.

IN THE CELLAR:
The 2011 vintage is looking good, most of the fermentations are finished up and things are tasting great, we are very excited to have Frontenac Gris back in our tanks, we are looking at bringing Wyalusing White back this coming spring as well as maybe a new wine or two.... Stay tuned.
